How to use Trench

Trench is a Solana launchpad. You can trade coins, launch your own, earn creator fees, get paid for holding, and get paid for bringing buyers. This guide walks through every screen. Nothing here is financial advice: memecoins are high risk and can go to zero.

Getting started

Sign in, pick a handle, connect or create a wallet

You can browse and score coins without an account. To trade, launch, claim, chat or get alerts, sign in.

  1. 1Tap Sign in (top right). Use email, Google, Apple, GitHub or a wallet. Trench never holds your keys.
  2. 2Open the account menu, then Account. Pick a handle (3 to 20 characters: a to z, 0 to 9, underscore) and an avatar if you like. Your handle shows in chat and in your bagworker links.
  3. 3Get a wallet to trade with. Either Connect wallet to use Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, Brave or any Solana wallet, or use your Trench wallet, which is created for your account when you sign in.
  4. 4Fund the wallet with SOL. The wallet button shows the address: tap Copy address and send SOL to it from an exchange or another wallet.

Linking wallets and the primary wallet

Under Account → Wallets you can link several wallets. Linking asks your wallet to sign a short message; it is free and moves no money. One wallet is primary: holder rewards and bagworker pay are sent there. Use Make primary to change it, and Unlink to remove one. Link the wallet you launch coins with, or the Creator page can’t find your coins.

The wallet button in the header shows which wallet you are Trading from. Use Switch wallet to change it and Manage wallets to jump to your account.

Phantom, Brave and other extension wallets can trade and launch, but only your Trench wallet can run orders while you are away (see Orders).

Finding coins

New, About to graduate, Graduated, filters

The home page lists every Trench coin in three live columns. On a phone, switch between them with the tabs.

New
Just launched, still on the bonding curve.
About to graduate
Closest to the roughly 82 SOL that moves a coin to its permanent pool.
Graduated
Moved to a Meteora pool with 100% of liquidity locked forever.

Search, sort and filter

  • Search any column by name, ticker, contract address (CA) or dev wallet.
  • Tap Sort to pick the order; tap again to flip high to low or low to high.
  • Filters: market cap, 24h volume, holders, age, curve progress, how much the dev, top 10, snipers and bundlers hold, and “has socials”. Filters are saved in your browser.

Reading a coin card

Each card shows holders, 24h buys and sells, 5-minute price change, and four risk pills: Dev, Top 10, Snipers and Bundlers (the share of supply each group holds). A pill turns red when that share is high. Tap the card to open the coin.

The coin page

Chart, trades, holders, safety, chat

Top bar

Price, liquidity, 24h volume, FDV (fully diluted value), supply, bonding curve progress, whether mint and freeze authority are disabled, and top 10 holders. Copy link copies the coin page; the X icon searches the CA on X.

Chart and trades

The chart and the trades table update the moment a buy or sell lands. Drag the bar between them to resize; double-click it to swap which one is big. Your layout is remembered.

Bottom tabs

Txns
Every trade with time, side, size in SOL and USD, and the wallet. Filter it to one trader.
Holders
Top holders read from chain, with tags for known wallets such as the creator and pools, plus holder count, top 10 share and sniper share.
Top traders
Who bought and sold most, with realized and unrealized PnL and what they still hold. Trench coins only.
Orders
Your open and filled orders on this coin.

Safety strip

Under the header, five readings in plain English:

  • Dev: how much the creator wallet holds right now (its vested allocation is not counted until it unlocks).
  • Top 10: the 10 biggest wallets, with pools and vesting accounts left out.
  • Snipers: wallets that bought in the 90-second anti-snipe window.
  • Bundlers: same-block buying right after launch.
  • Insiders: top holders who share a funding wallet with the creator or each other.

Badges show the rules that can’t change (LP locked, Creator vested). Trench Score opens the full report and Bubble map draws the top holders: bubble size is share of supply, lines join wallets with the same funder, and the orange ring is the creator.

Chat

  • Every coin has a chat. Sign in and pick a handle to post.
  • Up to 500 characters, one message every 5 seconds. Links are allowed only to X, Telegram, Solscan and trenchlyfe.fun.
  • Tap a message to Reply, Report (scam or phishing, hate, something else) or block the sender. Messages with several reports are hidden for everyone.

Watch, PnL and sharing

Follow adds the coin to your watchlist so its alerts reach you. If you hold the coin, Your position shows what you hold, its value, your average buy and your realized and unrealized PnL. Share PnL makes an image card you can download, copy or post on X. If you are a bagworker, your link is printed on the card.

Buying and selling

Buy panel, trade settings, fees

  1. 1Open a coin and pick Buy or Sell in the trade panel.
  2. 2Buy: enter a SOL amount or tap a quick-buy button. Sell: enter a SOL amount, switch to a coin amount with the toggle, or tap a percentage.
  3. 3Check the live estimate, then sign in your wallet. The panel shows the network and priority fees before you sign.

Trade settings (gear icon)

Slippage
How far the price may move before your trade fails, from 0.1% to 50%. Above 20% a bot can take the difference.
Priority fee
Auto, Fast and Turbo follow live network fees. Custom sets the total priority fee per trade.
MEV protection
Sends through Helius Sender with sandwich protection. A tip of 0.001 SOL or more uses every route; less uses fewer.
Quick buy / quick sell
Your own preset SOL amounts and sell percentages. Reset to defaults any time.

What a trade costs

Trading fee
1% of the trade on the bonding curve and in the graduated pool.
First 90 seconds
The anti-snipe fee starts at 30% and falls to 1% over 90 seconds. Buying in the first minute is expensive on purpose.
Network
Solana network and priority fees, shown before you sign.
A coin that has graduated trades on the open market. The panel switches to a market swap automatically and says so.

Coins from other launchpads

  • You can trade coins launched on pump.fun, Bonk, Meteora and other launchpads from the same coin page. The Open market panel routes the trade through Jupiter, and you sign it.
  • Trench fee: 0.5% of each trade on a coin launched outside Trench (Jupiter keeps a fifth of it). Graduated Trench coins pay no extra fee; their pool already pays the creator and holders.
  • Trench rules (40% creator share, holder rewards, locked liquidity, vested creator supply) apply only to coins launched on Trench.
  • One-click does not cover these trades. Its key can only make Trench bonding-curve trades, so every outside trade asks you to sign.

Limit, TP, SL and trailing orders

Orders that fill while you are away

Orders buy or sell for you at a market cap or percentage you set, even with the tab closed. They work on coins still on the bonding curve.

Turn orders on (once)

  1. 1Select your Trench wallet in the wallet button. Extension wallets like Phantom or Brave can’t sign while you are away.
  2. 2On any coin, open the Orders panel and tap Enable orders. This gives Trench a limited key on your Trench wallet that can only trade Trench coins on the bonding curve and only fill orders you placed, at your trigger and slippage. It can’t send or withdraw your funds.
  3. 3Tap Turn off orders any time. Every open order is cancelled and the key stops working.

Order types

Buy the dip
Buy a SOL amount when the market cap falls to your number (set it in USD or SOL).
Sell higher
Sell when the market cap rises to your number.
Take profit
Sell a percentage of your bag when the market cap is up by the % you choose.
Stop loss
Sell a percentage if the market cap falls by the % you choose.
Trailing stop
Sell a percentage if the market cap drops by the % you choose from its highest point after you set it.
  • No size limit: an order can use as much SOL as your Trench wallet holds.
  • One-click: the same approval lets buys and sells from your Trench wallet go through with no signing popup. Turn it on from the Buy panel, off from Orders.
  • The key can only trade Trench coins on the bonding curve. It cannot send, withdraw, claim or hand off anything.
  • Orders that have not filled expire after 7 days.
  • Cancel any open order from the panel or the Orders tab.

Launching a coin

Every field, the dev buy, the fee split

Tap Launch a coin in the header. You need a connected wallet with SOL.

Token name
Required, at least 3 characters.
Token symbol
Required. The ticker, like VRTL.
Token logo
Required. Up to 2 MB.
Description
Optional. What the coin is about.
Banner
Optional. Up to 4 MB, shown on the coin page.
Socials
Optional website, X and Telegram (a t.me link or a handle).
Dev buy
Optional, up to 20 SOL. You buy in the same transaction as the launch, so no sniper gets in ahead of you, and you pay the normal 1% fee, not the anti-snipe fee.
Fee split
Optional. Send a share of your creator fees to up to 10 wallets on every claim. You keep the rest. You can change it later on the Creator page.
  1. 1Fill the form and tap Review launch. The review screen reads the rules straight from chain: locked mint, freeze and metadata, the anti-snipe fee, your 40% fee share, your dev buy and your split.
  2. 2Tap Sign and launch and approve once in your wallet. Launching costs roughly 0.02 SOL in Solana network rent, plus your dev buy. Trench charges no launch fee.
  3. 3When you see Your coin is live! you can open the coin, go to the Creator page, or launch another. Your coin appears in New right away.
Name, ticker, image and supply can never be changed after launch. Check them on the review screen.

Rules every coin is locked into

Fees, anti-snipe, vesting, locked LP

Every Trench coin is created with the same on-chain configuration. These are settings in the Meteora program, not promises: nobody can change them for a live coin, including Trench.

Supply
Fixed. Mint authority, freeze authority and metadata are locked from the first block.
Fee split
Per $100 of trading fees: $40 to the creator, $16 to holders, $12 to bagworkers, $12 to Trench, $20 to the Meteora protocol.
Anti-snipe
30% fee in the first second, falling to 1% over 90 seconds.
Creator allocation
5% of supply set aside for the creator, free. Locked until graduation, then nothing for 3 days, then 1/30 unlocks each day for 30 days. Half is unlocked on day 18, all of it on day 33.
Graduation
At about 82 SOL raised the coin moves to a Meteora DAMM v2 pool. A 2% graduation fee is split evenly between the creator and the reward pool.
Liquidity
100% of the graduated pool’s liquidity is permanently locked. Nobody can pull it. Its trading fees are still paid out, and the creator holds half of that locked position.
Custody
None. You sign every transaction with your own wallet.

Config key, checkable on any Solana explorer: 9PyXvyqQBoe9xjjLDqeB8woM6v5qrvpus97ZMWRDKK5Z. The full reasoning is in the Trench thesis.

The rules lock the creator’s 5% allocation. A dev’s own bought tokens are not locked and can be sold any time. Check the Dev pill and the safety strip before you buy.

Creator dashboard

Claim fees, split them, hand off

Open Creator from the account menu. It lists every coin launched from your linked wallets, with Ready to claim and Claimed so far at the top.

Claim your fees

  1. 1Connect the wallet that launched the coin (the card says which one).
  2. 2Tap Claim, or Claim and split if you set a split, and sign. The fees go straight to your wallet in SOL.
  3. 3With many split wallets you may be asked to sign once more to pay the last ones.

Before graduation you claim trading fees. After graduation the card also shows your share of the graduation fee and the fees earned by your locked LP position. You can also set an alert for when fees pass an amount you choose.

Split with your team

Add up to 10 wallets with a share each (0.01% to 100%) and an optional label. Don’t list your own wallet: you keep whatever is left. The split runs on every claim until you change or clear it.

Vesting

Each card shows your 5% allocation and its schedule. It starts unlocking 3 days after graduation, a thirtieth per day.

Hand off creator rights

For a community takeover, Hand off creator rights moves the creator seat to a new wallet in one transaction: future fees, the LP position and the vest go with it. Coins already in your wallet stay yours.

A handoff is permanent and Trench can’t reverse it. Unclaimed fees move with it, so claim first, and double-check the new address.

Airdrops

Send your coin to holders, skip snipers

Creators and holders can send their own Trench coin to other wallets. Trench never promises an airdrop; this is a tool for you to run your own.

  1. 1Open Airdrop (or Airdrop to holders on a coin you hold) and paste the coin address.
  2. 2Choose who gets it: holders of this coin, holders of another coin, or a list of addresses (up to 2,000).
  3. 3Narrow it: minimum hours held, minimum share of supply, and Skip launch snipers.
  4. 4Pick Same amount each or By how much they hold, set the total, add an optional public note.
  5. 5Tap Preview to see the wallet count, what each gets, how many approvals you’ll sign and the network cost. Then Start airdrop.

Tokens go straight from your wallet; they never pass through Trench. If a drop stops, resume it from the airdrop ledger, where every drop and every transfer is public. You can run up to 3 drops at a time.

Bagworking

Share your link, earn from buyers who hold

Bagworkers are the people who bring buyers to a coin. On Trench they get paid by the chain, not by the dev.

  1. 1Sign in, link a wallet, and tap Become a bagworker (on your Account page or any coin). Trench pays the small one-time account cost for your referral wallet.
  2. 2On any Trench coin tap Bag work this coin, then Copy my link or Post on X. Your link looks like launch.trenchlyfe.fun/r/yourhandle/coin.
  3. 3When someone opens your link, their browser remembers you for that coin for 7 days. If they open another bagworker’s link later, the newer one wins.
  4. 4When they buy in the Trench trade panel, your referral rides inside the trade itself. They pay the same price.

How you get paid

  • Instantly: Meteora pays you $4 of every $100 in fees from trades through your link.
  • Daily: a share of that coin’s bagworker pool ($12 of every $100 in fees), weighted by how much of what your buyers bought they still hold, checked hourly.
  • One bagworker can take at most 30% of a coin’s daily pool. Anything unearned goes to that coin’s holders.
  • To qualify for the daily pay you must hold a bag yourself: on average at least 0.05% of supply or 0.5 SOL worth, whichever is smaller.
  • No referral is recorded for your own buys, for the coin’s creator, or during the 90-second anti-snipe window.
  • Outside coins: share your link on a coin from another launchpad too. When someone trades it through your link, you get half of Trench’s cut of that trade (0.2% of the trade), in SOL, added to your rewards. Your own wallets don’t count.

Your Account page shows referred trades, referred volume, your instant cut and your holder-based earnings. Daily pay is claimed with your other rewards.

Holder rewards

Daily SOL for holding, how to claim

Holding a Trench coin earns a share of its trading fees, paid in SOL.

Pool
$16 of every $100 in fees on that coin goes to its holders.
How it splits
Each day (Eastern time) the pool is shared by time held: balances are checked every hour, so holding longer earns more.
Who counts
Wallets holding at least 0.1% of supply at a check. Pools, the coin’s creator and Trench’s own wallet are left out.
Where it comes from
Today the daily split runs on bonding-curve fees. Fees from graduated pools are not in the split yet.
  1. 1Go to Account → Rewards. You’ll see Claimable, Earned all time and your past payouts.
  2. 2Tap Claim. The SOL is sent to your primary wallet.

Every settled day and every payout signature is public on the rewards ledger.

Alerts and watchlist

Bell, browser push, what pings you

Follow a coin to watch it. Alerts for coins you watch, hold or launched land in the bell in the header. Open Alerts to choose what pings you and to get push notifications.

Coin graduated
A coin you watch or hold moves to its locked pool.
Big buys and sells
A trade of at least your amount (1 SOL by default) on a coin you watch or hold.
Price moves
A move of at least your % within an hour (25% by default).
Creator fees to claim
Fees on a coin you launched pass your amount (0.1 SOL by default).
Bagworker pay settled
A day of bagworker earnings is ready to claim.
Chat replies
Someone replies to your message in a coin chat.
  • Tap Turn on browser alerts, allow notifications, then Send a test. Each alert type has its own on/off and push switch.
  • On iPhone: open the launchpad in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Open Trench from the home screen and turn alerts on there.
  • If your browser blocks notifications, allow them for this site in your browser settings and reload.

Trench Score

Rug-resistance facts for any coin

Trench Score reads rug-resistance facts from chain for any Solana coin, on any launchpad. Paste a mint address at trenchlyfe.fun, or open the score from a coin’s safety strip. No sign-in needed.

Authorities
Can someone still mint more supply or freeze wallets?
Holder spread
Share of total supply held by the top wallet and the top 10. Curves, pools and token locks are left out.
Launch block
How many wallets bought in the creation slot, and how much (bundles).
Shared funding
Top wallets funded by the same wallet (coordinated buying).
Liquidity
Where the liquidity sits and whether it is locked.

You get a 0 to 100 score, a grade from A to F, red flags in plain English, and notes such as “only 3 wallets hold this coin so far”. Results refresh every minute.

The score reports facts; it is not a recommendation to buy or sell. It does not label exchange wallets, so large established coins can show high concentration that is really an exchange.

Staying safe

Custody, scams, real risks

  • Trench never holds your funds or keys. Every trade, launch, claim and airdrop is signed by your wallet.
  • Trench staff will never DM you first and will never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Anyone who does is a scammer: report and block them.
  • Copy contract addresses from the coin page, not from chat or DMs. Copycat coins use the same name and ticker.
  • Check the safety strip, the bubble map and Trench Score before you buy. Locked rules limit some risks, not all of them.
  • Only trade money you can afford to lose. Memecoin prices can fall to zero in minutes.
Nothing on Trench is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. You are responsible for your own decisions.

Troubleshooting

Messages you might see and what to do

“This coin graduated; trading moved to the open market”
The coin left the bonding curve. The panel switches to an open-market swap; trade there.
“Selling needs about … SOL for fees”
Your wallet has too little SOL for network fees. Add a little SOL or lower the MEV tip in trade settings.
“That sell is worth less than the network fee”
The amount is too small to be worth a transaction. Enter more or use a % button.
“Connect … to claim”
Claims must be signed by the wallet that launched the coin. Connect that wallet, or link it under Account → Wallets.
My coins are missing on the Creator page
Link the wallet you launched with under Account → Wallets.
“This wallet can’t run orders”
Orders only run on your Trench wallet. Switch to it in the wallet button.
A trade failed or timed out
Raise slippage a little or pick a faster priority fee, then try again. Nothing is charged for a trade that did not land, except the network fee if it reached chain.
My wallet opened the wrong account
Switch accounts inside the wallet app to the address Trench shows, then try again.
No push alerts
Allow notifications for this site, use Send a test on the Alerts page, and on iPhone use the home-screen app.
